Phage Invaders

Phages are viruses that infect bacteria. Bacteria defend themselves against viruses with CRISPR-Cas gene scissors. In the Phage Invader game you can take over the role of CRISPR-Cas in a bacterium and defend it against the invading viruses.

The Phage Invader Game was developed by a team of the Innovative Genomics Institute (https://innovativegenomics.org), which is a joint institution of the University of California Berkeley and the University of California San Francisco.  We thank the Innovative Genetics Institute for the permission to embed the game on the Molecool website.
